We usually celebrate holidays together, generally at the First Reformed Church of Hastings, 18 Farragut Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, 18 Farragut Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. We build a sukkah, we dance together on Simchat Torah to the beat of our own in-house teen-powered klezmer band as we wrap our children in the Torah, we light Hanukkah candles together, we have Tu B’shvat and Passover seders, we laugh and get very silly on Purim, we sing around a riverside camp fire on Lag Ba’omer, and we teach each other interesting things on Shavuot. Our holiday gatherings are planned by our Holiday Committee.
